Composition of structural parts

The structures of blow molding, casting molding, and hot forming molds are relatively simple.

The structures of compression molds, injection molds, and transfer molds are relatively complex, and there are also many components that make up these types of molds.

The basic components include:

① Formed parts, including concave molds, convex molds, and various forming cores, are parts of the inner and outer surfaces, upper and lower end faces, side holes, side recesses, and threads of formed products.

② Supporting fixed parts, including mold base plate, fixing plate, support plate, cushion block, etc., used to fix the mold or support pressure.

③ Guide parts, including guide pillars and guide sleeves, are used to determine the relative position of the mold or ejection mechanism movement.

④ Core pulling parts, including diagonal pins, sliders, etc., are used to pull out the movable core when the mold is open, allowing the product to be demolded.

⑤ Push out parts, including push rods, push tubes, push blocks, push plates, push rings, push rod fixing plates, push plates, etc., to demould the product. Injection molds are often promoted to use standard mold bases, which are a complete set of basic components that have been standardized and serialized in structure, form, and size. The mold cavity can be processed according to the shape of the product. The use of standard mold bases is beneficial for shortening the mold making cycle.

Function of commonly used mold base parts

Fixed mold base plate (panel): Fix the front mold on the injection molding machine.

Runner plate (nozzle plate): Remove the waste handle during mold opening to automatically detach it (three plate mold).

Fixed mold fixing plate (A plate): The front mold part of the formed product.

Moving mold fixing plate (B plate): The rear mold part of the formed product.

Cushion block: Mold foot, its function is to provide sufficient movement space for the top plate.

Pushing plate: During mold opening, the product is pushed out of the mold by pushing out parts such as the top rod, top block, and inclined top.

Moving mold base plate (bottom plate): Fix the rear mold on the injection molding machine.

Guide pillar and guide sleeve: play a guiding and positioning role, assist in front and rear mold opening, mold and basic positioning.

Support column (support head): Improve the strength of the B board, effectively avoiding deformation of the B board caused by long-term production.

Top plate guide pillar (middle tosis): Guide and position the push plate to ensure smooth ejection.
